Privacy Policy
Written in plain language, because knowing what happens to your information is part of deciding whether to trust a site. The short version: reading is anonymous, tools save nothing, and your details only go to one partner, only if you qualify and choose to submit.
Last updated July 2026.
Information you give us
You can read every article, use every interactive tool, and talk to Vantage Guide without giving Vantage any personal information. The interactive tools run entirely in your browser and do not save or submit your answers.
Vantage receives personal information only when you choose to provide it:
- The screening. Your answers about what you owe and your situation, plus contact details if you complete it.
- The contact form. Your name, phone number, email, and preferred call time, if you ask for a call.
How that information is used and shared
If you complete the screening and qualify, your information is shared with one partnered debt settlement provider matched to your situation, who may contact you by phone, text, or email about their services, consistent with the consent shown at the point of submission. If you do not qualify, we tell you directly and your information is not sent to a provider.
Vantage does not sell your information to third-party call lists and does not distribute it to multiple companies to compete for your business. Vantage may be compensated by the partner for a qualified referral; that is the business model, stated plainly.
Vantage Guide (the AI assistant)
Questions you type to Vantage Guide are sent to an AI model provider to generate an answer, along with recent messages from the same browsing session so the conversation makes sense. The conversation is stored in your browser for the session and is not tied to a Vantage account, because there are no accounts. Please do not enter Social Security numbers, account numbers, passwords, or other sensitive personal information into the Guide.
Usage analytics
Vantage measures how the site is used, in aggregate, to make it better: which articles are opened, which tools are completed, where visitors drop off. These events use anonymized names, counts, and completion states. They are designed not to include names, contact details, free-text answers, or exact balances.
Service providers
The site is hosted on Netlify, which processes form submissions and serves pages; forms use standard technical measures like a honeypot field to reduce spam. Fonts are served by Google Fonts. The screening form is provided by Tally. Each provider processes only what is needed to deliver its service.
Your choices
- You can use everything educational on this site without providing any personal information.
- You can ask Vantage to delete information you've submitted through the screening by reaching out via the contact section.
- If you connect with the partner, their own privacy practices govern what happens next; read their disclosures before enrolling in anything.
Children
This site is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 18. Vantage does not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, the date above changes with it, and material changes will be noted plainly on this page.
This policy describes how the site works today. It is written for clarity, not as a substitute for legal advice, and questions about your specific rights are best directed to a qualified attorney.
